Im pretty sure I need to install new Wifi drivers however I cant seem to find any information on what drivers I need to download and how to then install them.I should also point out that I am a complete noob at this type of stuff.I have also seen a lot of people asking for details about the wireless card so here are my results after typing lspci in terminal.Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 006: ID 045e:0795 Microsoft Corp.

I contacted Microsoft support and they were no help, offering lots of the usual repair routes, none of which worked. I will have a look at a LINUX Distro in order to diagnose the hardware but I havent really used LINUX so any advice would be appreciated. There are about 300 Distros that you could try Most of them have very good instructions on how to prepare a usb or DVD from a Windows environment. Choose Windows and follow the guide. It is a live Distro so that you can try it do not have to install it on your machine It will not perform fast when you get it going since you are running from a USB stick, but it will do. Other Distros are designed to work from a USB by loading the whole OS into the RAM and running from there and they can be fast. When you get it going click on the icon for wireless and fill in the details and away you go. The only issue you may have is to get your machine to boot from the USB. It seems a common issue in Windows and Manjaro (Linux) judging from this forum comment of, I reinstalled Windows to see what I could test from there and the WiFi is doing the same thing there: every time I reboot there is a 15 chance that the card just works, regardless of what OS Im running.
